The HelpFund is a collaborative effort of community service providers, agencies and organizations to respond to emergency needs of the people of Caledonia County and Southern Essex. The HelpFund is administered by Community Partners, an interagency group which meets weekly to share information and to collaborate their efforts to assist those in need. Community Partners reviews potential recipients of HelpFunds through a referral process from participating service providers. Community Partners determines all final decisions regarding the distribution of assistance. Funding is limited, and although all households’ needs are respected, the HelpFund will be unable to financially assist everyone referred to Community Partners.
